Your basically picking up 700+ lbs by 1 cast pot aluminum set of threads from the looks of it. If you're picking up just the engine, then it's a little better (less weight, better balance)... but I would still highly recommend picking it up with the bolts in shear as opposed to tension. Someone else made a hoist set that went side to side rigid so it wouldn't lean in on the plenum for polished ones, etc. That would be the way to go. No way I'm sticking my mellon or arms under that to sort out wiring harnesses, etc when I'm dropping it back in.
